More than 76,000 Afghan refugees have fled their homes and come to the United States since the Taliban takeover of the Afghan government in August of last year. Scattered across the United States, they include human rights advocates, government officials, translators, students and more. Journalist Saleha Soadat is one of the thousands of Afghans who were evacuated from Kabul airport ten months ago.
