Friday, Nov. 19 – Join Aywa Chicago for a watch party of some of the best of queer cinema from Tunisia, Lebanon and other Arab countries! The event takes place at Facility Theatre (1138 N. California Ave.), and doors open at 7 p.m.
Friday–Sunday, Nov. 19–21 – Institute Gráfico de Chicago is hosting its 9th annual educational printmaking festival, which will be virtual this year. GRABADOLANDIA will feature an international portfolio exchange, community workshops and more. Follow @instituto_grafico_chicago on Instagram for updates and details on how to tune in.
Wednesday, Nov. 24 – Mariposa Chicago is hosting Community Thanksgiving between 2 and 6 p.m. Stop by 3551 S. Archer Ave. for a hot meal and a holiday meal kit. Want to give back? The community space is currently accepting non-perishable food items and monetary donations. You can also volunteer to help pack kits or serve meals.
