Free COVID-19 tests are available for everyone across Illinois, without a doctor’s referral and regardless of your health insurance status. Many workplaces and schools are requiring COVID testing after illness or travel as the Delta variant continues to be a problem.
The standard PCR, rapid antigen and antibody tests are offered by pop-up sites, pharmacies, schools and health centers. Some sites require appointments, and you can either call or go online to schedule a COVID-19 test.
