Buying a home is complicated. It’s even more complicated when you are undocumented.
Some organizations – including nonprofits like the Resurrection Project and the Center for Changing Lives – are providing counseling services to help people, regardless of their immigration status, understand the process of owning a house or condo.
Borderless compiled a list of agencies approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that provide homeownership counseling services including financial, pre-purchase, and post-purchase education.
