Break out your feo/ugly sweater and check out a holiday-themed comedy show from Las Locas Comedy hosted at Reggies Music Joint (2105 S. State St.). Wear your ugly sweater for a chance to win prizes. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 day of show.

OPEN Center for the Arts (2214 S. Sacramento Ave.) will celebrate a traditional Posada. Go out caroling and return to OPEN to celebrate with piñatas, tamales and punch.

The American Indian Center of Chicago will host a Holiday Powwow at its Tribal Hall. (3401 W. Ainslie Street). This free event is open to everyone and will include dances, community art vendors, an ugly sweater contest, a raffle and a Native Santa Claus. The AIC will also hand out holiday gift donations to families who register. A community dinner will start at 5 p.m. and grand entry begins at 6 p.m.

Join the Haitian American Museum of Chicago (4410 N. Clark St.) and Waterloo Center for the Arts for an in-person curator talk at HAMOC. A WCA curator will discuss the significance of the closing exhibit of Haitian art.
❄️ Wed. Dec. 28 – Fri. Dec. 30 and Wed. Jan. 4 – Fri. Jan. 6, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The American Indian Center of Chicago (3401 W. Ainslie Street) will host a winter holiday camp open to students in grades K – 12 for a few days full of cultural learning activities. This year’s winter camp is called Niijii Camp which translates to Friend Camp. RSVPs are required.
