Friday, Oct. 22 – Get an early start on Halloween at this carnival and fundraiser for communities in need in Honduras. There will be live music, Honduran food, games and a haunted house! The evening event is hosted by Casa Al-Fatiha (3463 W. Diversey Ave.).
Saturday, Oct. 23 – The Southeast Environmental Task Force is hosting its annual fundraiser at Club 81 Too (13157 South Avenue M), and the theme is Dia De Los Muertos! Dress up for dinner and the silent auction. Tickets start at $20 for students, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Wednesdays, as the weather allows – Build Coffee (6100 S. Blackstone Ave.) is offering free COVID-19 tests, vaccines and booster shots between 8 and 10 a.m. No registrations are required, just show up at the patio!
