Now it it’s 22nd year, the march is a celebration of dyke, queer, bisexual, transgender, and lesbian resilience.

The Chicago Dyke March returned to Little Village on Saturday, June 26 . Now it it’s 22nd year, the march is a celebration of dyke, queer, bisexual, transgender, and lesbian resilience.

This year’s event celebrated Palestinian and Little Village residents, who were invited to lead the march down 26th street. Chants including, “From Palestine to Mexico, Border Walls have got to go” and “Viva el Barrio, Viva La Villita!” were met with cheers from the Little Village community. The march culminated in a picnic and festivities at Piotrowski Park.

Borderless’ Dan Rowell was there to capture the march.
