Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 – 🎷 The Chicago Latin Jazz Festival starts at 5 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday. The free, family-friendly event will be held at Humboldt Park Fieldhouse (1440 North Humboldt Drive). Bring chairs or picnic on the lawn.
Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17 – 🌮 The Tacos y Tamales Festival this weekend includes authentic food from several regions of Latin America, local vendors, live performances and art. The event will be in Pilsen at Peoria and 16th Street.
Saturday, July 16 – 🌛 The Belmont Central parking garage will be transformed into ¡Mercado! en la Noche, a free and colorfully-decorated event showcasing Northwest Side merchants, artists, businesses and food vendors. The mercado will take place at 3140 N Central Ave from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Wednesday, July 20 – 🇨🇴 Celebrate Colombian Independence Day with performances from Ceferina Banquez and Arpa Café. The concert from the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago will be held at Nichols Hall (1490 Chicago Ave, Evanston). Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
