Borderless teamed up with The Point magazine on March 14 for a special panel discussion about immigration. Held in conjunction with the release of the magazine’s latest issue exploring the idea of America, the event took place at Lincoln United Methodist Church in Chicago, a sanctuary church that has been vandalized in recent years with swastikas and racial slurs.
Guest panelists included Northwestern University history professor Geraldo Cadava, The Point writer and author José Ángel N., and archivist Jenny Patino Cervantes. Their conversation unpacked what open borders really mean in this “nation of immigrants.”
